Unity’s Five Basic Principles

1. God is absolute good, everywhere present.
2. We have a flame of divinity within us, the Christ Spirit. Our essence is of God, and, therefore, we are inherently good.
3. We create our experience by our thinking. Everything in the manifest realm has its beginning in thought.
4. Prayer is creative thinking that heightens the connection with God and, therefore, brings forth…wisdom, healing, prosperity and everything good.
5. We live the truth we know.

Mountain Light Unity is a spiritual community bringing Unity’s positive Christian message of unconditional love to the mountain area, thus helping individuals to understand their spiritual purpose.

As we join together and affirm our common mission and vision statements, grounded in our beloved Unity Principles, magic is waiting to emerge.  The mystery of life begins when we hold a vision and then let the infinite Spirit of the universe respond to our intentions.

Did you know that what we experience is just a small fraction of what is actually going on in our world?  What if you were in touch with the dimension of yourself that holds the vast essence of pure greatness and unlimited potential?  What if we, as a beloved community, would express our pure greatness and unlimited potential?

Our natural state of Being is one of infinite possibilities. When we begin with this belief, all beliefs that follow will be supportive and will guide us to the destination of our vision we hold in our consciousness.  Yet, it takes conviction and determination to hold to the Truth we know in our hearts.

There is a garden of infinite ideas available to every one of us.  These ideas will harvest the brilliance we all have inside of us as long as we tend to the garden in loving ways.  The fertile soil of our imagination can grow anything we choose.  Nothing can stop us from growing and transforming our lives, except living from the small paradigm of what we physically see.  It is when we release the limiting points of view and go deeper within our being that we begin to see that so much more is available to us.  How do we do that?  By becoming still and connecting with the presence of Spirit within.  When we stop and just be in the silence, we see things that normally pass us by.  It is healthy and wise to give up being so busy.  Take time out and renew your mind, body and spirit.  Connect with your God essence and let you heart be filled with new life and new ideas.

Please hold these mission and vision statements within the garden of your thoughts.  Embrace them with love in your heart.  Nurture them with your imagination and, in your silent times, connect with the divine ideas of Spirit.  When we do this regularly we allow for the creation of our thoughts to manifest the fruits of our desires.  And for that, we say Thank you, God!

Mountain Light Unity Church in Evergreen, Colorado is a thriving spiritual community dedicated to positive spiritual growth and discovery of God's essence in everyone. Holding the tenants of Unity, we honor all paths to God, "One God, many paths". We are a new thought church focusing on the practical life-application of spiritual truths in a clear and easy to understand way. Our services and our classes are open to all who are seeking a positive, compassionate, safe and nurturing growth experience.
